Diagnostic Imaging Veterinary Technician Specialty Recognized by NAVTA

August 7, 2018 – Schaumburg, IL: The National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) announces the sixteenth veterinary technician specialty academy to the veterinary technology profession. The AVTDI is comprised of veterinary technicians dedicated to performing a higher level of veterinary Diagnostic Imaging modalities such as:

  • Digital radiographs
  • Fluoroscopic special procedures
  • CT scan
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Nuclear medicine imaging
